About Sweet Biscuit Inn
The Sweet Biscuit Inn is an elegant seven-bedroom Bed and Breakfast Inn with a Carriage House, located in Asheville, North Carolina's quiet wooded neighborhood of Kenilworth. This magnificent 1915 Colonial Revival home offers lodging with urban sophistication, for comfort and friendliness—Southern hospitality infused with European spirit.
This B&B is only 1½ miles south of downtown Asheville's shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes, and only a ½ mile north of the Biltmore Estate entrance. The Sweet Biscuit Inn is convenient to all of Asheville's attractions. Whether you are visiting Asheville for the diverse cultural charm, the opulence of the Biltmore Estate or the spectacular Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, you will love the inn's perfect location.
The lodging at Sweet Biscuit Inn features 11-foot ceilings, tiger oak wood floors, a dramatic formal staircase, a stunning ceiling-high library and a relaxing front porch, ideal for watching the neighborhood walk by.
Five of the Sweet Biscuit Inn guest rooms and the Carriage House bedrooms feature queen beds, two offer king beds. They all have private full baths with antique tubs or Europeans showers, HD cable television with flat-screens TVs, air conditioning and wireless Internet access. A clever combination of antiques and family heirlooms were selected to give each room comfort, elegance and a familiar appeal. Most of the rooms are unusually spacious; it is your hosts' credo that you, the guests, should have the space to breathe and expand.
Mornings at the Sweet Biscuit Inn are Chef Claudia's prime time: She puts all her culinary skills acquired over nine years of cooking in Provence into preparing sumptuous three-course gourmet breakfasts. Do not expect the ordinary, but always an authentic French course. When was the last time you had breakfast dessert?
The grounds of Sweet Biscuit Inn include many shade gardens, an inviting front porch, multiple beds of annual and perennial gardens, as well as an imaginative playground. That is just a subtle indication that our Bed and Breakfast welcomes children too.
