Block Island is home to two beautiful, historic lighthouses. The Southeast Lighthouse is on the southern end of the island; a long walk, but a nice bike ride will get you there. Built in 1873, this iconic structure was moved in 1993 due to erosion of the bluffs that is stands on. Beautiful views abound of the island, the Atlantic Ocean and Montauk, Long Island, New York, from it. A must-see on your next visit to Block Island.
