The term Freehouse comes from an implied definition for a pub.  In the UK, it is a type of bar that is not owned and controlled by a brewery, so the range of beers and other drinks that it can sell is not limited. The Littleton Freehouse honors this tradition by showcasing our beer offerings from local nano and micro-breweries around New England.

Father-daughter duo, Steve and Jillian are true North Country locals with a passion for locally-sourced food and craft beer. Both take enormous pride in their community and are committed to providing Littleton with a unique dining experience using fresh local ingredients and maintaining the highest quality food and guest service standards.

Steve, being in the business for the past 40 years started his career as a young dishwasher. Jillian actually grew up living and breathing the industry. As a toddler, she could be seen strapped to her Mother or Father's back while they worked in the kitchen or dining room of the Ammonoosuc Inn, which they owned and operated for 10 years in Lisbon, NH. Since those early years, Jillian went on to graduate with a business degree from Plymouth State University and has been working in resort hospitality, events management and restaurants for the past 15 years. Steve continued his career in the service industry and became the Director of Food & Beverage at Loon Mountain where he has been for the past 20 years.

Steve and Jillian are excited to bring their personal stamp on food and drink to the North Country. Both live and are raising families in Littleton and are extremely grateful for the support the community has shown them.
