Maine has some wonderful beaches! Head to Wells, Kennebunk and Kennebunkport for the biggest selection of sandy beaches in Maine. There are three within the Kennebunk Beach district, including Mother’s Beach, Middle Beach and Gooch’s Beach. The water at Mother’s Beach usually laps gently at the shore, so it’s a great place to go with kids. (Hence the name Mother’s Beach!)
