About The White Horse Inn
The White Horse Inn is a modern 26-guest-room inn and bed-and-breakfast, built 1978, in the mountain town of Fayston, Vermont — at the entrance to Sugarbush’s Mount Ellen ski area. Current owners Allen Zeiner (the chef) and Bob Heffernan purchased the property in October 2013 and are working hard to renew what we affectionately call “The Horse”. Bob is a native Vermonter from the other side of the mountain (Bristol area). Allen is a Connecticut native (Monroe). In the fall of 2013, the Inn underwent extensive renovations, with new energy efficient windows and high-tech boiler. Plus, the fire system has been totally upgraded. Most lighting in the Inn has been converted to LED bulbs, saving more energy. The Inn will be open year-round and is within 5 minutes of three ski areas: Sugarbush Lincoln Peak, Sugarbush Mt. Ellen (across the street), and Mad River Glen.
