This exhibit focuses on Norman Rockwell's years in Arlington from 1939-1953. During this time he created many of his most famous works. He also used over 200 local townspeople as models for his work. Rockwell was an integral part of the community and often interacted with the locals. He was able to capture life as he thought it should be lived. Today his art is recognized all over the world and his works are located in private homes, corporate offices and at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA.
