Montpelier comes alive this summer with tons of great downtown events! The summer starts off with a bang at Montpelier’s July 3rd Independence Day Celebration! Celebrate with fun events all day! Family Olympic Games on the Statehouse Lawn, the Montpelier Mile, our world-famous Independence Day Parade, tons of food vendors, music on the Statehouse lawn, and fireworks to cap it off! Enjoy more fun events all summer long!
The Hunger Mountain Co-op Brown Bag Summer Concert Series invites you to bring your lunch to the Christ Church Courtyard and enjoy live music and friends every Thursday at noon in July and August. The lineup includes Nashville’s Twangtown Paramours, Starline Rhythm Boys, and Dave Keller!
On Saturday, July 14th, Phillip Phillips headlines the Do Good Fest, presented by National Life Group. Great bands, food trucks, a beer tent, and more on the beautiful natural amphitheater at National Life.
On July 21 – 22, Montpelier transforms into a giant nature festival! Based at two hubs, Hubbard Park and North Branch Nature Center, the Montpelier BioBlitz 2018 is a huge outdoor celebration coupled with a 24-hour survey of our city’s flora and fauna.
Parkapalooza is a free monthly music series in Hubbard Park! In addition to great music, there will be a giant slip ‘n slide and a community BBQ trailer fired up for you to grll your own picnic. Check it out on Sundays, June 17, August 19, and September 16 from 3-6pm.
Montpelier Art Walk is a celebration of local art, with upwards of 20 art openings on one night in Montpelier! This quarterly event will take place on Friday, September 7.
