Long before Park City became a world class ski and resort town, long before it hosted the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and hosted the Sundance Film Festival, it was famous as a silver mining town. Historic Main Street now includes 47 contributing buildings on 13 acres along most of Park City's Main Street through its business section, plus part of Heber Avenue. All were built after the fire of June 19, 1898. The buildings include
Queen Anne, Mission/Spanish Revival, and Victorian architecture. Today it is home to over 200 unique businesses. Visitors can shop among over 100 independent boutiques & dine at 50 one-of-a-kind restaurants
