Rita's story began in the summer of 1984 when Bob Tumolo started selling Italian Ice from a small porch window in Bensalem, PA.  Bob & his mother created their own Italian ice recipe, made fresh daily, and adding chunks of fresh fruit.  Today Rita's is still made fresh every day with real fruit, and you can enjoy Rita's Italian Ice, Frozen Custard, or our #1 treat "Gelati".  You will find your dose of happiness with each visit.
