About Richmond Railroad Museum
The Richmond Railroad Museum vividly brings the region’s railroad history to life. Kids will love climbing into the cab of a real tank engine or the cupola of an authentic railroad caboose on the Museum’s tracks. While you are here, check out area’s largest model railroad layout and drive a virtual train on the locomotive simulator. There is lots more to see inside and outside this restored 1915 Southern Railway station at 102 Hull Street – just across the 14th Street bridge from downtown Richmond. Every weekend, knowledgeable hosts from the Old Dominion Chapter of the NRHS will guide your tour. Admission is only $5 for adults. Children 13 and under are free. Check the Museum website for events, programs and schedule updates.
