What are the best kept secrets, things to do off the beaten path in the Crystal Coast?

If you’re looking to explore the islands of Cape Lookout National Seashore (including dolphin and wild horse tours!) check out the Island Express Ferry Service. I’d also recommend the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and the NC Maritime Museum.

Don’t miss 34° North Restaurant for delicious food and a great atmosphere.

What are the best places to hear music?

There’s a few popular festivals in the area, including MumFest (New Bern), NC Seafood Festival (Morehead City), and Mullet Festival (Swansboro) that you won’t want to miss.

What is the history of this place and what historic sites can I see?

To history buffs, head to Fort Macon (Atlantic Beach), Tryon Palace (New Bern) and the NC Maritime Museum (Beaufort).

What makes this place special?

Did you know that New Bern is the Birthplace of PEPSI? There’s also many Beaches and Rivers and World Class Fishing.
