What are the best kept secrets, things to do off the beaten path near Mount Snow?

I highly recommend Somerset Reservoir for canoeing, kayaking, hiking, or a picnic.

Where would someone go for best breakfast/brunch?

If you’re looking for breakfast, head to Dot’s or Sonny’s Cup ‘n Saucer. For brunch, I recommend Jezebel’s or Alpenglow.

What are the best places to hear live music?

For live music, definitely check out Memorial Hall and The White House Inn in Wilmington, or the lawn of The Hermitage Inn in West Dover.

Are there any historic sites can I see?

There is SO much history! The Bennington Battle Monument and battlefield top the list.

So…what makes this place special?

Vermont’s Green Mountains! The area is full of amazing lakes, the skiing, hiking, and wonderful inns and restaurants.
