7 Spots to Fuel Your Day in Breckenridge

Once a mining town, Breckenridge, Colorado, is now a world-class ski destination. However, beyond the slopes in the wintertime, this town also attracts adventurers in the summer months with its hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, kayaking and more. Whatever your preferred flavor of adventure, though, you’re bound to get hungry while exploring Breckenridge. When you do, here are seven great spots to fuel up.

1. Breckfast

Breckfast — and, yes, that’s how it’s really spelled — is your place to go for delicious morning eats and one of the earliest happy hours in the area. Breakfast is served all day long, too, so you can chow down no matter what time you wake up. Expect breakfast classics like egg sandwiches and breakfast burritos, all in heaping servings that are sure to provide you with enough rib-sticking goodness to last through a day on the slopes or a day trekking through the peaks.

4. Crêpes à La Cart

Crepes? In Colorado? It’s not as crazy as you think. This restaurant serves sweet and savory crepes in multiple locations around the region. Enjoy cocktails and wine, plus a small menu of upscale bar food, such as the cabra burger, topped with pulled goat and crumbled goat cheese, or the Hoosier Pass chicken sandwich, topped with roasted peppers, mozzarella, basil pesto, balsamic and greens.
