For something on the upscale side, try the The Ram Restaurant

You’ll find a bistro-style menu featuring local and organic ingredients, prepared with a bit of European flair. A nightly heritage menu offers historic European-inspired dishes that harken back to the restaurant’s original opening in the 1930s.

For alpine-inspired eats and an Austrian environment, visit Konditorei Bakery & Cafe

This classic alpine cafe offers pastries, coffees, cocoa and more. All-day brunch options include an Austrian take on biscuits and gravy that features crispy pork schnitzel; crepes; and griddle cakes. Don’t miss the traditional spaetzle, or the schnitzel plate, served with paprikash and cabbage.

Gretchen’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is located conveniently right off the Sun Valley Lodge lobby.

Favorite menu items include the lodge burger, made with Wagyu beef and topped with an onion jam and dijon aioli; the chicken salad croissant sandwich; and the ahi tuna poke.

Trail Creek Cabin is a unique dining option in the area for sure.

Built in 1937, the waterside log cabin is only open during certain times of the year and features a romantic, high-end experience in a rustic, Western-inspired setting. An Open Table Diner’s Choice winner, this restaurant is one you’ll want to make your reservations for as soon as you know you’re going to be in the area.
