Shopping at The Grand Canyon
Full disclosure: You’re not going to find a wide array of shopping options right next to the Grand Canyon. That would, after all, kind of spoil the view. However, if you’re not a big outdoor adventurer and you’re just stopping by the Grand Canyon to take in the scenery and snap some photos, you can drive just a short distance away to find a handful of shops and boutiques.
Here’s where to go near the Grand Canyon for all your souvenir and retail therapy needs.
1. The Grand Canyon Conservancy Shop
Before you leave the park, stop by the Grand Canyon Conservancy’s shop for perusing the selection of high-quality souvenirs that you’ll find in the nonprofit’s outpost. Gifts, books, maps, guides, hiking gear, shirts and more are all available, so you can find something for everyone on your shopping list.

2. Double Eagle Trading Co.
In nearby Williams, Arizona, stop into the Double Eagle Trading Co. There, you’ll discover a range of souvenirs that encapsulate the old Wild West, from indigenous pottery to cowboy hats.

3. Rocks and More
In Valle, Arizona, you’ll find Rocks and More … where you can find, well, rocks and more. This family-owned shop is the best place to go in the area for all your turquoise jewelry needs. Not into turquoise? Fossils and crystals of various sizes, shapes and types are also available.

4. Desert View Trading Post
Closer to the canyon, Desert View Trading Post will be a hit with the family, thanks to the ice cream and fudge that are sure to tempt your tastebuds. In addition to the sweet treats, the trading post also offers authentic, indigenous crafts and wares, including handmade jewelry, baskets and more, from Grand Canyon-affiliated tribes.

5. Trejos Roadside Business
In Tuba City, Trejos Roadside Business sells a selection of indigenous-made goods, ranging from jewelry to housewares, and other souvenirs in a laid-back, casual setting.

6. Navajo Trail Trading Post
The Navajo Trail Trading Post is a popular travel stop due to its wealth of amenities for travelers of all types. The 10,000-square-foot complex includes two restaurants, a gift shop stocked with Native American Indian jewelry and handicrafts, interpretive exhibits, a sundries store, a gas station and even RV dumping stations. Whether you’re on a road trip or you just want to shop for souvenirs while you grab a fast lunch, this is the place to do it.
