A proud Hell’s Kitchen local and longtime member of the Broadway community, Valerie brings both grit and glamour to everything she does. After a successful career in finance at J.P. Morgan, she followed her entrepreneurial instincts and her deep love for New York City to launch Discovery Map of Midtown Manhattan.
As a new mom and true New Yorker, Valerie knows how to navigate the city’s hustle with heart. She's a passionate advocate for the small businesses, dining spots, theaters, and everyday experiences that make Midtown buzz with energy. Her love for Discovery Maps started as a traveler; she used to collect them wherever she went and even handed them out to guests at her wedding in Alexandria, Virginia.
