We share our favorite indoor and outdoor attractions to visit in and around The Woodlands!

In and around The Woodlands there is no shortage of adventurous things to do. On land, in the air, in and near the water, indoors and outdoors, there are countless ways to get your adventure on in The Woodlands area.

For casual explorers, consider a walk along The Woodlands Waterway or the Spring Creek Greenway. If you’re really looking to get physical, we recommend golf, kayaking, paddleboarding, and rock climbing – yes rock climbing… we know the Texas Gulf Coast is flat, but Spring, Texas is home to inSPIRE ROCK the largest indoor rock climbing facility in the State offering climbing, team building, and other fitness activities for all ages and skill levels.

If you feel the need for speed, head out to Speedsportz Racing Park in the Grand Texas Sports and Entertainment District. Test your racing skills as you speed around the track in a high speed kart. Have you ever experienced the thrill of flight? Wouldn’t you love to skydive without having to jump out of a plane with a crazy stranger strapped to you? iFLY Indoor Skydiving is the area’s premier drop zone.

Or if you prefer to stay closer to the ground, venture out and discover the local outdoors. Spend a day on Lake Conroe, explore the WG Jones State Forest, or discover hundreds of local and cultivated plants and trees at the Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens. Don’t forget to pack some snacks and your camera — you’re going to want to share your photos and relive these great adventures over and over again.
