Discover Culture and Arts in Spring-The Woodlands
Art takes on many forms and we have it all here in and around The Woodlands.
Everything from outdoor sculptures and fine art to historic theaters and a world class performing arts venue, the Arts are all around you. Take a leisurely stroll along The Woodlands Waterway, home of one of the largest Arts festival in the country, and be amazed at the unique Art Benches and sculptures – great places for selfies! Visit the Woodlands Mall and view the Spotlight on the Arts Gallery on the second floor which includes some works by local artists from The Woodlands Art League and the Conroe Art League.
If music and the performing arts are more your style be sure to visit The Cynthia Woods Pavilion, a premier outdoor amphitheater. With performances by the Houston Symphony, and Houston Ballet, the Houston Grand Opera, and award winning artists and bands – Jimmy Buffett is always a crowd pleaser. A performance at the pavilion is a definite “must-do” when visiting the area. Many of the performances have free lawn seating.
Looking for something more local and intimate? The area is full of history and culture. Visit Old Town Spring, a historic railroad town, and Conroe, the birthplace of the Texas flag. Here you will find local museums, art and craft galleries, theatres, and historic buildings.
