Shad Bloom 10K

This spring race (an island favorite) takes runners over a scenic 10K course with breathtaking views of beautiful Block Island. The race includes a little bit of everything: dirt roads with stone walls and rolling pastures, a winding track overlooking the Atlantic, and at mile 4 racers meet "the wall", a steep, double tiered, narrow climb. If the ferry is cancelled race day, then the race will be postponed until Sunday May 14th.
Fees (non refundable): $30
Additional Date Information: The Race begins at 1:00pm. The Start and Finish will be at The Block Island School Certain Covid restrictions may be in place. All participants will be required to follow any Covid restrictions.
Event details and schedule: Packet pickup/ day of registration will be at the Block Island School starting at 9 a.m. the day of the race
an informational e-mail including maps will be sent a few days before the race to the email the runner registered with.
