Kayak Coeur d’Alene, formerly a retail sales and rental shop, is now strictly a rental delivery service for your Kayak and Paddle Board needs. We deliver conveniently to our designated city loading zone locations along Rosenberry Drive for easy access at the Northwest corner of Lake Coeur d'Alene. Parking is available close to the access points along the lake road and also in the North Idaho College (NIC) public parking lot. We can also deliver to your location around the lake to accommodate your paddling needs at your lake home, vacation rental, or Airbnb. In the early summer we start you on the lake location by Hubbard St Park. Paddle SW to Cougar Bay Nature Preserve for calm water and bird watching, or paddle SE to Tubbs Hill for plenty of rocky shoreline and beach access. When the runoff and lake flow slow into the mouth of the river in June, and the dams in Post Falls are closed, we use the River start location at the NW corner of NIC. From there you can guide yourself down the Spokane River and around the Blackwell Island via the canal through, to the marina, and out to Cougar Bay or over to the shoreline of the public beaches.
