Moose on the Run Café - formerly known as Half Baked & Freshly Brewed - opened its doors in winter 2023-24 under the new ownership of friends Jelena and Laura.

Jelena came to America as a J1 student and worked at the famous Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta on Martha's Vineyard, which eventually led her to run Jimmy Seas Loon Mountain. It was on Martha’s Vineyard that Jelena met Laura, a native of the island. Laura attended college in Florida but was drawn to the year-round outdoor lifestyle of New Hampshire. She quickly fell in love with the quaint town of Lincoln, its vibrant community activities, and has happily settled here with her spirited Yorkie, Benji, since 2020.

As regular visitors of 'Half Baked', Jelena and Laura loved the vibe and charm of the little Main street café and dreamed of owning a coffeeshop themselves one day. So, when the opportunity presented itself to take over the café, they knew it was meant to be and with some new personal touches, made it their own!

The duo shares a love for the outdoors (like hiking, skiing, and kayaking), a passion for good food, and putting a smile on the customers' face. Swing by for the best coffee in town, tasty eats, and friendly service. We look forward to seeing you.
