Richardson’s Market is a third generation, family owned grocery store serving downtown Portsmouth. Originally established in 1948, the market closed in 2000 and has recently been re-opened in the original State Street location by Beth and Greg Danilowski, to the joy of locals and visitors alike. Richardson’s offers fresh produce, packaged meats, frozen foods, dairy, grocery and convenience items. They also sell fresh brewed coffee, grab n’ go food items, newspapers, lottery and tobacco products and a nice selection of beer and wine. Stop by and say hello to Shirley, one of the former staff who’s back behind the counter. Welcome home, Richardson’s Market!
